This was the case on my TTS, but not the Power vision. TTS requires you to send them the old ECM, if you can get it from the dealer then you should be good to go. But you need to realize you will be down for a while, because they want both the new and the old ECM's. With the PV, I was off and running with a few emails of proof of change and a file off my PV.
