Screamin Eagle Pro Tuner reflash question

Ok, bought my 13 RG last October from a local HD dealer. Bike has D&D Exhaust, Heavy Bretather, 255 cams and heavy clutch spring confirmed from installing dealer. The previous owner did not hand over the tuner when he traded it in. I see used ones on eBay for sale with a footnote saying it has to be reflashed to use on a different ECM. Anyone been this route?

I am only getting 26 mpg and need to try to remedy this before the Sturgis trip. Thanks.

Think that once they are tied to a bike, its a lifetime deal. The po screwed you. If you are close to Dallas though, Ed at the dyno difference can take care of you.

Have the dealer contact the PO about getting it back. Those things are around $400. GMR is another reputable builder/tuner in the Dallas area just to give you another option.

Dealer is "looking into it". Dyno Diff is right around the corner from me. GMR is not too far. Thanks.

If you need to buy a tuner you don't have to get the HD SE tuners there are aftermarket tuners that will work for around the same money.

being close to both gmr and dyno difference, if you plan on using one of them, see what they recommend.

I understand the concept of reality, but find it too confining for a way of life.

Sounds like whoever did the original tuning was not that experienced with it. Your combo should give you mpg readings in the mid-30s or better. Hopefully, you can get the module from the dealer or the original owner, as he shouldn't need it after selling the bike.
