SEPRT Stage1 Base Map

I'm new to tuning but prefer to do this myself so I learn as I go. I have 2013 FLTRX and have a S&S stealth air cleaner and a D&D H-pipe coming (will use my current FP Outlaw slip on's for now).

I haven't done anything yet, but do not see very specific base maps in the SEPRT software to choose from.

With OE Camshaft, really only Configuration 1580 (SE Air Cleaner, Race Exhaust, ACR disabled) seems close. When I load this though and compare it to the Original, I see no difference at all to either the VE or AFR tables.

Is this where you guys start for a stage-1 'autotune' session ?

That's pretty much how I started. I would keep an eye on the timing tables when doing auto tune. For some reason I've had it retard timing which really starts screwing with things. My guess is the knock sensor is going off cause the autotune has it lean to begin with

Thanks. I'm also going to ask the dealership. At one point they discussed doing a stage1 download for me (vs a full dyno session).

They wanted to charge for this, of course, but I can't help but wonder what this meant since the VE and AFR tables for this setup are exactly the same as what's on the bike now. Seems that it wouldn't do anything by just downloading it as is.

Can't help but think I'm missing something (like a secret source of SEPRT maps beyond what comes with their software)

Stopped by the dealership today, 4 guys behind the service desk. I asked them which map they started with for a Stage 1 tune; basic answer was 'you need to Dyno'. When I opened the application and pointed to Configuration 1800 they said, 'yeah, that's the one we use'. Then I showed him 1580 and he said 'probably pretty much the same'.

Pretty sure the guys I was talking to had no idea.

-SE or CVO air cleaner
-SE exhaust

there should be some files for 1690 cc and a harley screamin eagle exhaust with stock cam, thats probably where i'd start
