computer cant/wont open winpv files

my computer says the files are not supported or are damaged???? anyone else have this problem! thanks in advance

nope. try sending me one of your files and i'll see if i can open it on my computer.

I understand the concept of reality, but find it too confining for a way of life.

I had the same problem with a Fuel Moto map. I called them, gave them access to my computer, and they fixed it. I'd call whoever sent you the map.

Sounds like an association issue. Is that file type associated with an application on your computer? If not, you just need to tell the computer what application to use with it.

Please post exactly which files you are opening, also make sure you open the files within the WinPv sofware directly

My post to the OP on another forum:

You are saving .pvv files which are Value Files. These are corrected VE tables populated by running Auto Tune, they are not Log Files. To do a log you must use the start/stop log button from any gauge screen or from the auto tune green screen. They are automatically saved as a .csv file and are numbered in sequence. You will retrieve them using Get Log I the WinPv software
