ECM Flash

New m8 was in for 1000 mile service and check up. All good. Bill shows a no charge ECM flash.
Old calibration 41000481A
New calibration 41000481B

Note : do not install on air cooled models do not install on models with race tuners or SE parts.

Isn't the SE parts why you get the flash in the first place ?

2010 FLTRX , Stage 1, 13" Madstad, Mono tubes, SuperShox, Heritage style bars. Alpine CDE-HD149BT,Soundstream Picasso Nano Series PN4.520 , 5X7 and 6.5 Infinity Kappa speakers
If I have to explain ,you wouldn't under stand anyway.

Not really on the M8 not required for all changes built into the ECM. When dealing with the M8 things that applied to the twin cam are meaningless. This is more of a calibration update. The shop manger was not in today season is winding down small dealership. I will talk with him about it when I have time. just figured some would like to know .
Many will take issue with it but I always take mine in for the 1000 mile. This is just something that came up with the service.
