FP3 canned map advice

I am looking to find the best canned FP3 map to start with after doing a stage #1. I have a 2016 FLTRXS with Fuel moto 2-1-2 ceramic coated headers, 3" V&H fishtail slipons and a K&N high flow air filter in the stock breather.
I am currently running the map for the V&H 2-1-2 power duals and it runs like shit. There are maps for generic pipes as well. Just looking for the best map to start with and then to tweek it with the auto tune as required.

This would be the thing to do. The tech guys will probably listen to your setup and know which map is best right off the bat. Great customer service!

I had similar issues with 2-1-2 and V&H cans. Call Tech and they will help. One other note, after you map it, disconnect it and just ride. Don't leave it to auto tune, mine caused issues when riding different elevations and road types here in Colorado. Runs great now.

A lot of users have had great luck fine tuning with the auto tune feature. I'm one of those more like you. The canned map that Chris Neely recommended seems to run the best regardless of where I'm riding at. So I've been running the canned map for going on three years now and I'm perfectly happy with that.

To the OP, as others have suggested give V&H a call. They will probably have you gather some data and upload the information to them. This can all be done through the FP3 app on your phone.

If that doesn't work out, you might reach out to FM and ask them what they recommend since you're running their head pipe.

As others have state, V&H tech support is top notch. I have been running the same map for about a year and a half from a series of auto-tune sessions I did. I really spent a lot of time in auto-tune trying to "green up" as many squares as possible, in as many conditions as possible. I had a pretty darn complete map! The only thing that has bugged me is my fuel mileage being lower than others report. I finally got some time and contacted V&H last friday to see what they could do to help. In a matter of about 30 mins I had uploaded my map to them, one of their techs tweaked some settings in my VE tables, downloaded the new map, and I was done!

If I were you, I'd start auto-tuning and ride for 2-3 tanks of gas in various conditions, applying the tune along the way every 100 miles or so. Try to lug it, rev it, steady cruise, hot rod, and everything in between. Then finish the auto-tune and see how she runs. After that you can always have V&H tweak your map to get the results you want. And don't forget that you can change your throttle progressivity!

I ran the Auto tune thru several tanks of gas and flashed it. It runs much better now.
Still a little decel pop. I have also changed the throttle to standard plus.... what a difference.
