P0505 Code?
Curious if someone knows an answer here. I went for a short buzz up the road last night before bed, stopped at a light and as I slowed to a stop the engine sounded like it might come apart. Loud knocking and almost an air gasping cycling sound. No history of doing this. It's a stock 2015 110 w/ just over 20k miles. First instinct was to stop before it did damage, but decided to see if I could limp the couple of miles to the house. Seemed to run ok in 4th gear at about 2k rpms. It cut off as I turned into the driveway and coasted into the garage. Re-cranked a few times and seems to be running ok now. Checked the codes and under the ECM-Y I get a P0505 code. No other codes. I believe that is a "loss of low idle sensor" code.
Anyone familiar w/ this? Should I ride and see if it stays away, something I can fix (I'm a 4 on the wrench scale and a 1 on the electrical/electronic scale), or take to HD and ask them to replace a sensor?
Any help much appreciated!
Ron

From looking around via google, suggestions could be throttle stop, vacuum leak, throttle cable out of adjustment, anything that can affect the bikes ability to control the idle.

Loss of throttle control.
The two tests are:
Check for sufficient fuel supply. Seems that I recall an issue with the pressure regulator housing on that year scooter.
Check for vacuum leak.
And it can be set by mechanical issue in the throttle body.
I'm going to guess that it could be set by a mechanical issue in the engine too. Anything that destabilizes the idle speed.
