FP3 causes Cruise to quit working

Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. A while back I turned on autotune and afterwards the cruise wouldn't turn on. I took it to Harley and they fixed it, didn't really say what the issue was. I forgot about it until this past weekend when I once again turned on autotune again, while on the ride i tried to turn on the cruise, Nogo! Anyone else have this issue?

A good friend of mine had this happen on his 2013. He had some codes with it(can't remember which ones). We did some troubleshooting, & he ended up calling V&H. Right away, they said they knew about the problem. Sent him a new tuner.

I just started the autotune on my bike, i guess we'll see if they have to send me a new one as well. Thanks for posting this, I now know what to look for.

I’ve never had that happen with my FP-3 on my 2015 RGS.
Interesting

Well i got it figured out, evidently it is a known glitch in the FP3 software. I called vance and hines and they had me send my map, 5 minutes later he sent it back, i flashed the bike and cruise works perfectly. Guy at V & H was very professional and hooked it up.

Good to hear. I had to call them to get my initial map due to parts combo. They were very helpful. One of the best call centers IÂ’ve worked with. And I work in one.

I never ran into any problems when I used the fp3 on my 09 in fact I really liked it. I only removed it because it wasn't really capable of doing what I needed it to do when I did the 124 motor install
