2 Up Seat w/ Higher Passenger Seat?

When my old lady is riding with me, she says she pretty much stares at the back of my head while we ride, lol.

I'm 5'10 and she's 5'3. Do you guys/gals know of any seats that maybe lower the rider slightly and elevate the passenger at the same time? I had a Sundowner a while back and when I bought it, I thought it would make her sit higher but it really didn't make much difference.

I'm wondering if one of the "deep bucket" seats would have that effect.

The only aftermarket seat I ever really used was from Sick Saddles for my old Dyna and that didn't elevate the pass. at all.

Maybe a Corbin or Mustang?

Rear seat to high

Find a good upholsterer and have rear cushion cut down. The stock rear seat is way to thick/tall

I would give Corbin a call. They seem to be able to make all kinds of adjustments. Plus they make the best seat on the market. IMO

JDisMe, I have the Mustang lowdown, I like it and my OL love it. the passenger seat is 15'' width so she say is very comfy!

I recommend putting a pad on the passenger seat of varying thicknesses to determine what might work for her.

The problem with raising her seat for a better view is that now the passenger backrest will be lower, the floorboards will be further away, etc. You may be opening a can of worms.

The nice thing for you is getting more lumbar support from the seat.

Once you go through all that you will better know what your requirements are.

Just mount a portable DVD player to the back of your helmet. Seriously though, seeing over your helmet is a bad idea for center of gravity. As long as she can see over your shoulder, I think moving yourself forward or her back a bit can have as much or more impact on her vision than seat height.

Rest in Peace Michael Wade
