Rushmore T/P Adjustment

Is there any way to mount the Rushmore T/P further back?

Sure there is a way. If it doesn't slide back far enough with the nuts loose you'll have to relocate the studs on the metal plate on the bottom of the T/P.

Replaced tour-pak with a detachable tour-pak. Now less space between driver and passenger than original fixed rack. The removable tour-pak is adjusted as far back as possible on the new rack, yet still less space between driver and passenger. Wondering if docking kit points are adjustable or is it in a fixed position. Drilling out tour-pak to adjust further back not an option.

Search the site for the 'George Anderson Tour-Pak relocation kit', its a bolt on plate that moves the tour-pak back a couple of inches. I have one on my 2012 and my wife said it made a world of difference. Its a small business, you call him and he sends it out.

Thanks fellas for the info. The Rushmore T/P removable mount does allows you to mount it an inch back.

If that doesn't work, you can drill holes further back on the detachable mount, then take a 4" side grinder with a cut off wheel and finish the slots back to the new holes. Done this several times. No need to mess with the tour pak bolts.
