Question about seat models

Got my RGU back today from being lowered. It feels much better but not quite there yet. So I went to the local Harley dealer to try seats. They went to get a 52000173 (supposedly from the ultra classic low series and it appeared to be superseded by 52000334. Does anybody know what the difference between the two model numbers ?

I know the 334 seemed to do the trick. In looking at the seat on mine (2011) the pan was also marked low and seem to be mostly the same although the sticker with the model number was faded beyond reading. If there is no difference then I'll find a used 173 otherwise I will bite the bullet for the 334.

Thanks for looking.

Update, I found a 173 and gambled with ebay and scored. It was listed as used and looked brand new when I got it. Swapped it and there it was..flat footed after the set swap and lowering.

What year is your RGU? How much did you have it lowered by? How tall are you and what is your inseam? All of that information would be helpful for those members trying to determine which seat would be best for them. Thanks!

2011 RGU. Lowering blocks in rear 1", progressive springs in front so a net lowering of about 1". I am 5'6" with a 28" inseam.
