Rear footpeg removal trim

I changed out my seat to an HD Brawler. So far, really like it. In the installation directions it suggests removing the rear foot pegs which makes sense because it would look a little dorky to leave them on. But I would like to have some trim to cover the rear mount. Looks unfinished with nothing there. Anybody done anything with that?

Stainless steel caps from the Home Depot hardware bin would be the easy fix. If you wanted you can paint the caps black to make them less noticeable. A button head Allen screws will also do the job. Although they may exist, I donít know of any after market cover specifically made for this purpose but, I would think you could fab one yourself without to much efffort.

Think I may have seen a cover while paging through the J&P catalog.

You can get small plastic caps/plugs at a hardware store. Harley sells them too but the hardware place will be cheaper. I have them in mine. Here's a pic of mine.
