I am a big fan of Corbin seats, been riding on them 25 years. There is now one on all four of my bikes. Yes, they are hard and yes, they are heavy, but very, very comfortable, at least for me.
My latest Corbin purchase is a "Dual Tour Fire and Ice" that I bought used off this forum. If you ever buy a Corbin seat, do all you can to at least get the heated version, you will not regret it. I have not used the cooling function, but my laser thermometer shows a significant decrease from ambient temp after about five minutes. I will give it the hot ass test when outside temps go up.
I did not plug it into the fuse box as per the instructions, but wired up a separate fuse block controlled by a diode protected relay (canbus safe) triggered from the accessory harness and fed by a fused lead from the hot side of the starter solenoid. This makes for a clean install and provides connections for other high amp applications like heated gear, horn, etc. I don't like having a bunch of connections on my battery terminals, especially grounds.
