Installed heated Corbin seat.

Wow this thing is awesome! I have had Corbin seats on pretty much every bike I have owned. Did not get one when I went to Harley because of the price. After trying all kinds of seats I broke down and got another Corbin. The seating position is perfect. Yes itís stiff! That has always worked in the past so we will see.

Did you paint your bike? Or is your signature lagging behind the bike purchases?

The corbin definitely puts out the heat. Mine only goes on the bike in the winter.

My signature is lagging behind. I bought an 18 Ultra in June. Not sure how to change it.

If you don't have access to a computer I can't help you since I don't do iPhone. If you have access to a computer with windows, do the following.

Resize a photo you want to use for your signature. The max size is 500 by 150 pixels or 68.4 KB (whichever is smaller).
You can use "paint" to edit your photo. Just make sure you choose "save as" when you are done so you save a copy of the photo.

Then on Roadglide.org:

Near the top right of the page you will see "User CP". Click on it.

On the left side of the page scroll down until you see "Edit Signature". Click on it.

Scroll down until you see "Upload Signature Picture".
Choose Option 2 to upload image from your computer.
Click on "Choose File" and select the image you resized.
Click on "UPLOAD"
Click on "SAVE SIGNATURE".

Hi
Did you you had any issue to install that heated seat?
How the installation works?

On my '15CVO it is plug and play. HD also sells adaptersif all your plugs are being used. My Fire & Ice came with wiring and instructions to with directly into the fuse box if you wish. I just plugged mine in.

All you have to do is buy the appropriate wiring harness for your year bike from HD and plug it in. Piece of cake. Have 3000 miles on the seat now and it is the best seat ever. It took 2000 miles to break it in. The first 2000 miles was kinda rough but after that it is the best seat I have had.

I am a big fan of Corbin seats, been riding on them 25 years. There is now one on all four of my bikes. Yes, they are hard and yes, they are heavy, but very, very comfortable, at least for me.
My latest Corbin purchase is a "Dual Tour Fire and Ice" that I bought used off this forum. If you ever buy a Corbin seat, do all you can to at least get the heated version, you will not regret it. I have not used the cooling function, but my laser thermometer shows a significant decrease from ambient temp after about five minutes. I will give it the hot ass test when outside temps go up.

I did not plug it into the fuse box as per the instructions, but wired up a separate fuse block controlled by a diode protected relay (canbus safe) triggered from the accessory harness and fed by a fused lead from the hot side of the starter solenoid. This makes for a clean install and provides connections for other high amp applications like heated gear, horn, etc. I don't like having a bunch of connections on my battery terminals, especially grounds.

I have tried the Fire & Ice in the cool position and it helps with the summer heat. The Ice setting uses more power than I expected.
At idle my volt gauge drops down significantly. At hiway speeds (over 2000 rpm) all is well. It takes a few minutes to cool off the seat but is a big help in the Fl heat. If the cooling fans on the lowers are running is when I get the drop in voltage. Otherwise it's fine. I'd buy it again.
