Short legs - need to be lower on the bike
I’m new to the forum and touring bikes. I have a ’17 RGS that needs a few tweaks to match my frame (5’10” with short arms and legs) and my preferences (comfort, appearance, sound, etc). I’m thinking about changes in this order: lower the bike 1.5 inches, (using shocks, seat or both), change the handlebars (apes if I can find something that works with my T.Rex short arms), then the audio system. Any comments on lowering the bike using 11.5 inch progressive (or similar) shocks, vs going to a CVO seat (I think it sits lower – how much lower?) or other seat?
