I have one but don't use it anymore since I switched seats to a LePera Maverick DLL with fixed back rest. While I WAS using it, the adjustment was a Godsend on longer trips. You get to fidget around quite a bit more with the adjustable, which really helps you soak up more miles. If I'd get into a twisty section of road, I'd spring it forward so I was more upright. Then on long slab stretches I could recline like a Lazy Boy.
You do have to be careful though, because the adjustable backrest isn't compatible with every Harley seat. I know it does not work with the TallBoy seat, for example.
