gps mount

I am wanting to remove the temp gauge on the dash & install a gps mount in that hole. Has anyone else done this? if so pics. please.

I have done it and Dmize done his that way. You will have to shave off the round mount some and I cut a piece of metal for a backing plate on the inside of the fairing. If you use a ram mount ball, get the smallest one you can so the arm will be small also. Otherwise it will cover your gas gauge up.

I did it on mine and it feels good also ran a power cable in the fairing out to the mount.
