Thoughts on this head unit/GPS?

Hey all,

I am considering one of these for my '12 FLTRU but am unable to find any reviews online. It says it will work with the thumb controls with an adapter. Anyone have one or know someone that does? There are links to the radio and GPS manuals on the web page.

Jenson VX7010

Thanks

Jeff

It's not available yet........

Looks cool, but

Nowhere does it say water resistant, or marine use. Page 7 of the manual ......"WARNING! To prevent injury from shock or fire, never expose this unit to moisture or water."

Would be good in a show bike, that never sees the road.

Oh yeah..... duh.... Welcome to the forum

Thanks.

I've never bought a radio for a bike before. It never occured to me that it would have to be waterproof. My turn to say "DUH". It's too bad, it looks like a really nice radio/GPS combo unit and at $350 it's a great deal. Oh well, back to the drawing board. Back when I had my '90 FLHTCU it was a simple decision. I was very satisfied with the stock radio and the cords to hook you into the bike. Now with Bluetooth and GPS thrown into the mix that decision is much more complicated!

Not a problem...... I might just have to check that unit out a little closer when they come out for my car.
