GPS Mount

I wanted to relay my experience with Iron Aces Speed shop. I asked them more questions than the law should allow. I picked their brains and kept at it for days. I am taking a long trip to Las Vegas at the end of the month and want to make sure all goes well.

I decided, rather than purchase the Garmin Nuvi for 800 clams I would just my the one from my car on the bike. But how to do it safely and in a good use area.

I searched and came across

They have a one piece aluminum billet that mounts on the top part of the road glides speedo (see the web site for lots of photo's)

I get the part tonight and hope it works well. It is a good alternative to the 800 dollar route and will look good to boot.

The best thing was their customer service. It was TOP NOTCH!

I will try and add some pics later.

You'll be hard pressed to find anyone to say anything bad about them around here. Several of us use the mounts and love them. Bet you will too.

Yep, the mount works great for my Zumo 665. Only regret is that mounting the GPS covers up the sweet machining on the mount!
As for IronAces, they are a class act all the way. Lindsey is awesome, and very interested in making sure customers are happy with their experience.

I can't use their mount because of another accessorie that I have, but they did have the decency to tell me, instead of trying to sell me their unit anyway, and also gave me info on what I could buy, even though its not from their company. Good people.

Can't speak to the GPS, but just did 2200 miles (right past Vegas to Arizona BTW) with their mount and a Zumo 660. Perfect, solid mount...just a great setup. And +1 on all the positive comments on Iron Aces.

I rarely use a gps but I have a handlebar mount with a waterproof NUVI 550. Couldn't justify the Zumo or Iron Aces.
