Please post pics of your mounted GPS... Harley mounts are $150. I want to try to mount to dash or the like...

I don't have a photo handy, but you can't go wrong with the Iron Aces mount. They're a sponsor on the forum here, and there are several threads that will give you an idea of where it goes and what it looks like. It will accommodate any Ram mount for just about any GPS or phone. It even looks good when you don't have a device mounted!

What if the Hokey-Pokey really is what it's all about?

Check out Ram mounts:

They have pics of solutions on that page. There is a dude with an iPad mounted in front of his gages. Crazy ideas. Have used several of their mounts. Good stuff.

+1 on iron aces mount. Really clean look and perfect position.

Ram mounts. Half or less than Harley's.

I cut off the ball and mounted it as shown. that way I can snap on the mounting bracket and then the Garman. When I don't need the GPS, I just remove everything except the ball.

I use a ram mount on both of my bikes. Just swap the cradle and and Zumo from one to the next in less than 2 mins. I have mine positioned so that I have full view of my guages yet centered enough that I can see ahead of me easily while glancing at the unit.

Gotta love the speedometer feature on GPS, and even more love the roads in the western US.

When I need it, I will use my Galaxy S III as a GPS since the screen is rather large. I have it mounted to a RAM X mount, which I love. Couldn't take a shot of the unit in the mount, since the unit is also my camera!
