Any how 2's on wire in dash for GPS??

I ordered the iron aces mount for my garmin nuvi 40lm, I was wondering how to run the wire and can it get power from cig lighter internally ?
Any help would appreciated..

What type of GPS power unit r u planning on using. IE cigarette lighter or a motorcycle harness like those included with the zumo series.

If you are using a harness just run the wiring down the back of the nacelle into the fairing. You can tap the power from the 12v accessory port.

If not u can either purchase a hard wire kit from Garmin or amazon or u can add another 12v adapter inside the fairing and use the cigarette adapter and run the wire out of the fairing to the mount.
