I have the same gps and mount. I put it on my windshield but it works on my gas cap cover too. It's out of the way and no permanent mount to deal with or look at when not in use.

Yes, ram suction cup. That thing has industrial strength suction. I don't have a pic sorry.

Take a look at the Iron Aces mount. I get more compliments on my GPS above the speedo/tach. They (Iron Aces) are also one of the sites sponsors but they also make asome great stuff the mount one of them-Highly recommend it.
