GPS Bluetooth

I have a Road Tech Zumo 665 from my Ultra Limited that I am determined to use on my new (2017) Road Glide. Why? It's just the way I am.
It is mounted, and will be wired in soon. I have tried many times but can't get the Bluetooth communication established. The Infotainment GPS sees the Zumo and the Zumo sees the HD, but I can't get them to communicate. Any ideas???

Thanks ...Smoky

I don't think it works that way. pretty sure that the Bluetooth on the garmin is so that your phone will ring in through your gps, not so your gps will play via a Bluetooth receiver. to do what you want to do, hd sells a rear mount aux in plug.

I understand the concept of reality, but find it too confining for a way of life.

What Scratch said it will not work in the configuration that you are attempting. However your in luck as you have the Harley branded Garmin so you can purchase the Auxiliary Input adapter from Harley that installs on the rear of the radio. You will have to wire it in. Once you have that the dealer will have to program your radio to see the Auxiliary input and name it, then you will be able to select it just like you would select AM or FM. Since it is a Road Tech it will interrupt what ever is playing on the radio and allow you to hear the turn prompts.
