solved!!!!!

Has anyone encountered this? My navigation says i am in Milwaukee! I certainly am not! I am in California, and i can't use my nav. When i try to enter an address it only looks in Milwaukee. I cannot for the life of me change it to my location. When i go to dealers it offers me Wisconsin dealers.
I asked at the service dept and the advisor was kind enough to call Harley and they gave him some steps to reset the system which got us nowhere.
Has anyone else experienced this and what did you do to fix it? Is my nav part of the head unit just fried?
I asked a guy at a local stereo shop if i had something unplugged and he told me there is nothing to unplug. I did have a different stereo shop install an amp and speakers and i am wondering if he did anything?

I know this is an issue for you and I am sympathetic, but you have to admit that it is kind of funny.

I think your bike is homesick. LOL!

Sounds like the GPS receiver is toast or not connected. You are not receiving position data so the system must be defaulting to a test mode.

I believe under set up or navigation you can improve your GPS location.

I think your stereo guy unplugged the antenna and didn't get it back on right. It's kinda funky plug. Unplug it and plug it back in.

i guess ill undress the front and look for a plug to start with

It's working! Boy am i going to miss Milwaukee, but it's good to be home!
I undid the front cover and looked for loose connections and didn't find anything...wiggled the damn NAV connection and TA_DA! Magic box works again! Now just got to reverse and put the nose back on!

yeah my thing seems to work better when i wiggle it too.
