Question klock werks fitment problem

I just bought a brand new 2013 RG for a pretty awesome deal from a local dealership and picked up an 8.5 KLOCK WERKS when installed without stock bottom strip it has around a half inch gap between the center bolt and next 2 bolt out has anyone else had this problem?

Just buy the Edge trim from advance auto to replace it.

I started at the center screw and then worked my way around to the outside screws. Mine laid flat doing it this way with no bottom trim. The second row of screws are slotted so if you tighten them first you are locked in with no room for side movement
