GADS/Madstad review

Started with a 13" Madstad...thought it was really good..no buffeting. Then added the stock " dog dish" no difference... went to the GLADS LTTD, I found it was better than the dog dish...I added the stock HD " flaps"... felt even better...the icing on the cake was when I added the GADS 001 shields under the signals.....DAM...no air at all!! Felt like I just put lowers on!!!
So if you want no wind coming at your face or head...try the GADS combo, with the HD" flaps and a Madstad!

Co-worker wanted me to take his Street Glide to the dealer since he lives on opposite side of town. I called him after 5 miles and told him to ride his own POS. He said he wanted to keep my Shark with Gads combo and Madstad. He now understands what I am saying when I say, "Inside the Bubble." Kid was waving arms around on the back Sunday and I asked him if he was trying to loose an arm. At the stop light he finally admitted that he was "Measuring the Bubble" as it changes around the driver and passenger. He said it is amazing how far it is to the side of both of us.

Hmmmm... The GADS LTTD was noticeably better than the Moco dog dish, You say huh? I'll have to order one up.

I'm jealous. I have the same setup minus the LTTD (sitting in a the box) and have yet to experience this no buffeting bliss... Glad it's working for you!

I did right after I submitted that reply. Been adjusting that windshield for 1 1/2 months... about to give up on it and sent it back.

GADS 1 and LTTD for me + 16" freedom shield = smooth gliding. I am 6'6 with 16" apes for the record. However adding HD lowers also was nice. Would recommend to anybody. Before adding the GADS I could put my hand in front of the tank by the ignition and feel dirty turbulent air coming up toward my face and same with air coming up over top of the HD lowers. GADS fixed.

Dont be fooled I still get air in my face but not turbulent dirty buffeting like without it or using the stock 6" fingernail shield on FLTRX.
