LRS and windshield trim

I received my LRS today - so do you guys use your OEM trim or just leave it off?

If you use the OEM trim, how do you secure it? Mine is coming off the HD shield in less than 4k miles!

I've seen it off and it looks clean.

I personally transferred the stock one to the LRS. 30K miles it has not come off. I didn't secure it any special way but just made sure it seated well and tightened down on the expansion nuts and that was it.

Some have just gone to autozone or oreilly and purchased some automotive trim and used that attaching directly to the shield.
