Solvent for removing fairing trim glue

I'm sure this has been asked but I can't find the answer!
What is the best solvent for cleaning up the glue after removal of the stock fairing trim without damaging paint or the windshield.
Thanks for the help.

WD-40 and a micro fiber towel will take it right off.

3M used to make a adhesive remover. Check your local auto body supply.
