I just received my 12" Freedom Shield Sport/Touring in light grey tint. It is the first aftermarket item I've bought that is better than o.e.m.! I have two Harley windshields, stock and a 12" Windsplitter, and the quality, fit and finish, and aesthetics has them both beat. It looks like it came with the bike. I also have two LRS windshields that are ok for the price ( they were both under $100), but don't stand up to the Freedom Shield. I'm 5'9" with a 30" inseam, and the top of the shield is at mustache level. I can see over it great and it throws the wind up over my head. Bending down and looking through it, the view is not distorted despite the curve at the top. I can listen to the radio at a lower volume than any of my other shields. My next windshield, if I ever need one, will be a Freedom Shield.

John at Freedom Shields is one of the most customer service-focused people in the industry. The product speaks for itself, but the communication from John is just icing on the cake. Congrats on a shield that will last forever!

Couldn’t agree more. I have the 12” in the touring style, and I just ride along in this perfect pocket of air. I ride a ‘17 RGU, the stock touring windshield was effective but too tall, just below eye level. Tried the 12” windsplitter and it was too low, and too narrow. Cold air on upper arms is not my idea of fun. But I like your comment about it looking like it was made for the bike. I think all of the Freedoms compliment the faring like no other.

11" Touring in medium smoke for me. 5'9" 31" inseam. I have had this shield four years on two RGs. Very happy.

I’m 5’9 with 30 inch inseam and my 11” touring is awesome. I’ve had it about two weeks now.

Hands down the best shield and John is great to work with. I run the 14" dark tint but sitting on a Hammock seat which raised me slightly.

Love what I'm reading about Freedom Shields and John. I ordered the 12'' touring a few days ago. can't wait to try it out. How long should I expect to wait for delivery?

I've had Freedom Shields on 2 RG's now. Good choice.
