handlebar touchup

I have factory black heritage bars on my RGU. I put a ram mount with u bolt that was powder coated on the bars for my zumo 550. Well I should have known better and put some thin rubber in between ( I have since) anyway anyone have black bars that they had to touch up and if so what did you use. Figured i would ask here before experimenting.

thanks

Not sure about touching up but you can always take them off and have the bars powder coated. Its more durable than paint and when done properly looks great. Just an idea
