Can you use your stock cables with 13" apes

I recently purchased 13 inch ape hangers.for my 2009 road glide
I have a million people saying they have a friend who used there stock cables on 14's and I can do it with my 13's
and I have a million people saying I have to get new cables.
Has anyone used there stock cables with 13's or higher?

There is no for sure yes or no. Depends as much on width as the height. You should let people know which brand and type.

I used up about all the slack there is on my Outlawz 612s.
I seriously would be surprised if you could make the stock cables work with 13" or taller apes...

It depends on you width and pullback. 12's are really he limit on cables. Mine are pretty much maxed out on my 12's. on the other hand the wires inside could probably go all the way to 16's.
