Heated grips question

Can I put stock harley heated grips from an ultra 2004 on my 17 glide? They have plugs obviously and are standard so I was hoping they plugged into existing wiring harness

I am amazed those grips are still working at almost 13 years old and not showing visible signs of wear.

You could stop in at your local dealer and compare them to a kit designed for the '17 Road Glide and determine it that way if no one has personal experience to share.

Probably not designed for internal wiring though? Could definitely make them work if not but would have to run the wiring on the outside of the bars

I wish they made PM type grips (fat middle) for rushmores..I didnt see any in the catalog. I tried a rental bike with them and they were nice...

Looks like the heated ones in the catalog are 08-up....

For starters, you have to look at is whether your 2004 is throttle by wire, as well as difference in diameter of handlebar between the 04 and your 17. I don't know the answer to either, but not too hard to look up and/or measure.
