Vindikta Denaro and Factory47 Comparison

Hey guys. I have just installed both sets of these bars and wanted to give everyone a little comparison to maybe help if you like both of these bars and not sure which to choose. I have installed the Vindikta Denaro bars on my 16 RGS and the Factory47 on my buddies 15 RGS.

I purchased my bars used from a forum member and they are the 12" Denaro bars and then purchased new take offs of the Factory 47 from another forum member and they are the 14" Malo/Signature bars.

I installed mine this past Saturday and it took around 4 hours. I ran into a couple of little issues that I worked through but held up progress a little. If I did them again, I know without a doubt I could do them in alot less time. I installed the Factory47 bars last night and had them on in a little over 2 hours.

Looking at both of these sets, they are both very well made and look awesome. The biggest difference in looks is the curved down tube appearance of the Factory47 vs the straight tubes of the Vindikta's. They sit very similar as ours are adjusted to about the same position. If you leave the factory pin in place, the Vindikta's do not allow them to move very far forward, almost straight inline with the fork tubes is max but will come back toward the rider more. The Factory47 bars are kind of opposite as they will go forward quit a bit with pin in place, but will not come back towards the rider past being inline with the forks. This didn't cause an issue for either one of us as I'm only 5'7" and he is 5'9". If you remove the pin you, of course, will have free adjustment to wherever you need them with either bar.

Next difference. As I said earlier, I bought the 12" Vindikta's and my buddy has the 14" Factory47. When installed and looking at both setups, they appear to be the same height. So, out with the tape measure. The Vindikta's measured Almost exactly 14" from the top of the bottom bar to the top of the peak. The Factory47 measured 14 1/8" from top of bottom bar to the top of the peak. Now, there could be a mistake in the bar height as I purchased them second hand but looking on the Vindikta site this is what it says for the measuring, "Vindikta measures the height from the bottom of the center cross tube to the top of the grips". As for the Factory47 site, this is what they say for their measuring (which is pics and not attached) Measured from, "Top of the bottom bar to the Peak of the bar". I'm not sure if I may by chance have a set of 14" instead of 12" but if they are 12", they are the same as the Factory47 14". I have no issue either way with this as I like them which ever they are but it may be that the way each are measured will make a difference to someone else.

The install was just as others have stated and not a major task if you are a little mechanically inclined. My 16 throttle by wire did not have to be de pinned as it has a smaller connector and slid right through the bars. My buddies 15 did have to be de pinned as it had the larger molex connector. Used a paper clip to push the pins out and just took our time and it gave no issues. It did seem that pulling the cables through the Factory47 bars went a little smoother. Maybe because I had already done a set a few days earlier but it did seem the throttle side setup went past the top peak a little easier.

I know there's other write ups about both of these bars but I wanted to give a small comparison if any one was looking at both bars. I hope this helps someone and I'm sure there are others that can chime in and maybe give a little more detail on the bar measurements of each to help others looking.

I have attached 2 pics below. The first one that's in my garage is my 16 RGS with the Vindikta's and the one at the gas pump is my buddies 15 with the Factory47's

Ya. I'm thinking you have 14" Vindikta bars. But that's neither here nor there as you like them either way.

Pretty cool write up. I have the 12" Factory 47 signature bars. And I absolutely love them.

Thanks for taking the time to post this.

The Vindiktas have a more pronounced peak, so maybe that makes up for the height difference. What was the height difference in hand height (if any) in relation to your shoulders and/or the difference in pullback? Good info for those still trying to decide, and they both look good. Thanks.

Thank you guys. I haven't measured the grip height of both, but BlazingSaddle, you are correct. The Vindikta's do have a more pronounced peak which is even more noticeable when the bikes are side by side and that could be a lot of the difference. When I get back with my buddy, I'll have him measure his and I will report back on his grip height. As for mine measuring from the top of the bottom bar to the center of the grip is 12.5". I know this isn't how Vindikta measures theirs, but this may be an easier way for someone to visualize. If someone else on here has the Vindikta's, in a 12" and/or 14", maybe they could measure the down tubes of the bars and report back their measurements. This will clarify if the way they are measured at manufacturers are that different. I know the guy I bought them form said mine are 12" but measure closer to a 14". I would just like to help inform anyone looking into these with the exacts to help them with their decision. Like I said before, doesn't matter to me now, I like the size I have, but would hate for someone to pickup a set expecting one thing and getting something different. This was a lot of the back and forth decision I was facing and really hope it will help someone else in their decision process. Thank You guys for the feedback/input.

RFG7680, I was also going to add, I know you said you love your Factory47 bars. My buddy said the same about his. We went for a ride yesterday evening and he was pretty pumped at how well they rode. I didn't get much seat time with his but they are very similar to mine and he said the same about mine. I think anyone looking at either of these, would be happy. It may be more of which look you like best. The straight tubes or the curved.

Thanks for this write up as Ive never even heard of Vindikta bars.

You are corrected about Vindikta not measuring their bars how you measured yours.

I love the look of the F47 bars but im not happy with my set as they're actually 12.5-13" instead of 14" so I will be posting it up for sale soon. Thinking about going with Vindikta being that ill be saving about $100.

Ya. Looking at them. Its really a kut that curve. And for 100 bucks less. I could absolutely live without the curve. Lol. Both look great.

Silence, if I can help you with any measurements on the Vindikta's, please let me know. I have had them on for a little while now and really like them. Also, I may know someone interested in the Factory 47 bars you are pulling off. PM me if you decide to sell them.
