2009 CVO stock clutch Cable

I am installing a set of 14" apes on my 2009 cvo and need to know the length of the stock hydraulic clutch line. I did a mock up and used a piece of hose and i am coming up with plus ten for both the brake and clutch, if its a tad long i'm thinking I can take some of the slack by making bigger bends around the fairing. Any insight is greatly appreciated. Also any words of advise on draining the clutch and brake master cylinder. Thank you in advance for all the help

+10 seems extreme. My '12 is a +6 with a 14" chubby bar.

I agree but the manufacture said +10 and then I measured and cam up with +10. I don't want all this extra slop either.

The hydraulic clutch line length I have is 72" and that is with 14" Outlawz. I believe that is +6" compared to the stock line.

I can dig out my stock line (its in one of my boxes of parts) and measure it for you if you want.

i think that is close. I ran a string along the old line still mounted to the bike and came up with 62" with out the fittings. so 72 is probably really close. Thank you. Do you have enough or would you go more or less?

I don't think I would much less than 72" ...maybe an inch less. Before you run your clutch line along your frame to your bars, check to see if you get a good positive fit with the fitting going into your transmission cover. I had some issues with my 09 CVO.
