about the switches

do the switches have a screw that attaches the wire to them or are they sealed ? I did a handle bar swap and do not have my low beams now.I am thinking i messed up the wire extension when i did it for the low beam

no the switches are hard wired, no screws holding the wires onto them. Your issue is most likely down stream from the bars. As I stated in your other post, systematically test for power at the headlight socket then back to the handlebar/fairing interconnect harness. Since you extended your wires I'm betting that you just have a bad connection at the extension. Good luck
