Bonanza Bars or Road6Custom

I just finished the install of the Paughco Bonanaza bars on my SE Road Glide. When all was said and done, and after two adjustements, here is my verdict. I HATE THEM.

They look exceptional on the bike, but for me, the top part of the bar with the controls, bends down too much, and makes it difficult to hold on and work the controls. I would prefer the control part of the bar to be straight, not bent down at an angle. The price was very good, and they make work for others that don't have my shoulder problems.

I was looking at Road6customs bars, and they can also alter them to fit. Does anyone have experience with them and the ride? I was looking at Yaffe, but the price is sure high for handlebars.

Any comments is appreciated.

You got any pics of the bonanza bars on your bike?? I was looking at those suckers really hard last time I bought bars. However, I couldn't find a pic of them on any bike,.. much less a Road Glide.
Im back to thinking I wanna bump mine up a little higher again,.. so if the specs are right you might have a buyer

Oh, and Road 6 customs. My experience with them was terrible, and it was with having a custom set made. I've heard a lot of good things, but I've also seen a lot of negative things wrote about their delivery/shipping times as well. Before ebay gave everyone 100% good feedback, if you could still read their feedback there was about 10% that was negative and it was all on slow shipping. It took me pretty much threatening to drive to Nebraska before I got results. They wouldn't answer the phone, wouldn't return my messages, and emails kept promising he would take care of me and make it right. Never happened. Thats my experience with them, but I know several forum members here had good experiences with them. The Road6customs guy has been on these forums in the past, but I haven't seen any posts from him as of late.

Bonanza Bars

Hey Chain:

Let me get them off in a week or two, and I'll shoot you a great price. Mine are chrome and I'll get some pics.

I have heard the same about Road 6, but also a lot of happy buyers. I'll give them a shout on Monday.

thanx

Bonanza Bars

The bars are 14" tall, 18" wide at the top (distance between the control arms), and a total width of about 36" (more or less). They also have the gussets and holes under the control arms.

They look great on the bike, but just bend down too much for my shoulders. I'll shoot pics today, and put them on the board (if I can).

Does anyone know if the Yaffee bars are in stock, or on backorder?

thanks
