Crimping Tool, thought I'd share

After doing enough bodge-crimps, with various pliers, hammers, vices and rocks, I finally found an economical crimp tool that does a decent job. I got the third one down - ECT39 - for $32+shipping.

There was a brief learning process, to get the right size, holding the connectors in the right way, etc.

Best tool I've bought, since getting my first Harley.

I've been considering one of these to add a few connectors to my CVO for communications but haven't found one at a decent price. This looks like the right one, but I'd like to see how your crimps came out if you've got some pics.

Subscribing, botched enough with other "tools". Would like to see the pics (don't want to revert again to fold the left then fold the right and squeeze tight...

Garage
J&P Cycles has a few different types. I have attached a couple of links for the two cheaper versions uner $50 didn't figure anyone would want the $400 version. I have the cheapest of the two and they work good just as OP stated just have to get use to what fixture on pliers to use. I have used these a lot with no problems. No pics of wires that I have done but can do one later if needed. I've not had any problems getting terminals into plugs after crimping. These will not work on closed barrel terminals.
