I need some rubbers.....

.....for my foot control shift pegs. I have the burst shifter pegs and after asking one of the parts guys at the dealer MoCo doesn't sell replacement rubber for these little bastards. besides wrapping them with a bunch of appropriately sized O rings or some leather has anyone used anything else?

I haven't tried it, but have you thought of masking off the non rubber sections and spraying that "flex seal" rubber as seen on tv? I've tried their caulk but not the spray, but I've heard good things. Not sure how it would stand up to your feet, but it's cheap enough it may be worth a shot.

Interesting idea. Not a bad one but indeed an interesting one. I thought it kind of funny that they don't offer replacement rubber for those. I felt from the get go that they wouldn't last long the rubber was so thin on those pegs.

Rubber would be pennies, they can charge you $90 for a new one! I wouldn't sell new rubber either lol.

Yep. ^That I am aware of. Funny thing is the powder coat on this pieces has stood up quite well. Which is why it would be almost wasteful to replace them. I think I'm just going to go the o-ring route.
