I think you’ll like the air cushion.
Avons are my preferred grip. Never had an issue with figment. I’ve had air cushion, contoured, memory foam. Just going to throw this out there in case anyone is on the fence. Not shitting on the grips in any way mind you but when I hear memory foam I expect soft foam. These are not memory foam. They don’t really compress so there’s nothing to remember.

I put a set of Avon grips on this summer at Sturgis. $60.00 installed and love them. Nice big beefy grip. Not air grips but a whole bunch netter than the stock ones.

I tried a couple of Avon air grips back in 2015 and had a fitment issue with aftermarket bars (throttle side). They worked fine on the stock OEM bars though.

Put the memory foam grips on recently(size large) & love them. I've been an Avon fan for a while, but so far these are my favorite. The Avon rep in Daytona told me on the '15 & newer that sometimes they had to grind down the lip that fits into the switch housing on the throttle side. I had to on my '09 with the memory foam grips, but it was very little.

Were you expecting the memory foam grips to be softer than they are? I was so excited until I got them in my hand.

Maybe a bit softer. But I do love the feel of them. I had the velvet grips before, & my hands no longer ache at all when riding all day. I think they may be a bit more shock absorbing.

If the grip portion ever wears out, they’ll replace it for $20 a set. Who else does that? No fitment issues on my stock 2016 RGU bars, and those same grips are now riding on my Factory 47’s. Got the Air Cushions, $60 installed at a rally. Took them about 5 minutes. (I timed them because that’s how long they said it would take to swap them.
