Handlebar Search

The stock handlebars on my 17 RGS are driving me crazy. They are they most uncomfortable bars I have ever had on a bike. That being said, I'm looking to change them out. My last Roady was an 11 model and had the bars changed out to Heritage bars before I bought the bike. They were extremely comfortable and I could ride for days without any pain.
I just noticed that Harley produces a set of 1 1/4" Heritage bars that will fit my bike. Anybody know if they would be as comfortable as the Heritage bars I had on my 11 ?
I know a lot of guys go for ape hangers but I am past that stage as my circulation is not as good as it used to be. I just want a pair for bars that are at a normal angle for my hands and won't hurt my shoulders.
Thanks for any help and recommendations.

there are tons of bars out there. since the stock bars have a 9 inch rise you can look at anyones 10 inch bars and not be much taller than stock. all you need to figure out is what pullback and width you want. there are even some companies doing 9 inch bars. you can also look at the stock bars on the road king or road glide ultra at the dealer and if you prefer one of those, you should be able to get a stock take off for relatively low money. luckily this is a very easy swap.

Don't know about the Heritage bars for the Rushmores, but I had them on my 2011 RGU and prefer the "mini" apes I put on this one. I'm not really into ape hanger per se, but the comfort is really there. FWIW, I have 13" Road 6 Customs Holey Rollers. They are below my shoulders and put my hands in a good, comfortable position.

+1 on Road 6 Customs. I have 11" Standard Apes. I'm 6' and my hands are behind the fairing, well below my shoulders, and the wrist angle is great.
I had Heritage style bars on my 09 and they didn't work at all for me. Road 6 Customs is worth a look.
