Expensive bars vs less expensive bars

Iím thinking a new set of bars is in order for this winters project.
Being from Canada our dollar isnít very strong whenever purchasing south of the border so every dollar saved helps for other stuff.
Factory 47 Rivera bars are $400.
Road6 Customs Standard apes are $199.
KST Renegades, (different style), $228
What is the difference, quality powder coating, smooth edges inside as to not chaffe wiring over time, what do you suspect?
Thanks

2019 FLTRX, ďFinĒ

Check out JSR customs he sells on eBay, great bars at a great price and the quality is second to none IMHO.

Road 6 are top quality. I had the 11 Frisco's, and went to the 13 inch. Excellent bars, great finishes, easy to wire. I highly recommend them.

Expensive bars vs less expensive bars

My KST Straight Jackets are top notch on my RG, had Wild1 Outlawz on my Fatboy.

Outlawz cost around $300, the kst bars were $179 and much better finish imho.

Got gloss black on kst bars and powdercoating is excellent. No burrs in bars that i could feel.

I've got 11" Road 6 Customs Standard Apes. Great quality. IMO, $199 is plenty for a powdercoated tube. Handlebar prices are crazy high for what you get.

I have done the Road 6 13" bars on a 2016 and 2017 Road Glide now. The first set were perfect so I bought the second set when I upgraded. I noticed the second set does not line up very well. When I am riding, my front brake is noticeably lower than the clutch lever. I don't know if the bars are twisted or if the holes are out of alignment. I am looking to give JSR a try soon.

I second this^^^^^.

1.25 is plenty unless you are wanting to go tall. Then 1.5 would look and perform better. I have the Road 6 Custom Standard Apes 11" as well. Easy to wire and looks great IMO.

I have a set of JSRs as well. Great customer service. Called and had a set custom made for half the price other production sets. Highly recommended.

FXR Division Motorwitch bars, that's what I'm hoping to get soon. 30.5" wide. I don't like those that are 34-36" wide.
