Handlebar after install question

I installed my 13” Road 6 custom bars today and everything is fine except. My front turn signals do not light up or flash(I did not remove the front fairing), but the rear turns signals have running lights and flash/brake as selected. I checked for codes and did not see any, which seems strange to me. I took a ride around the block and everything seems fine, except for that.

I checked for any pinched wires and good there, I would also think I would have issues with the rear turn signal if something was amiss with the wiring. When I plugged in the harness from the handlebars, I plugged the right side switch pack wires into the right side receptacles under the speedo/tach, 2 plugs and the left side wire from the switch pack in the left receptical, that harness has only one plug. I do not think a fuse would cause this issue, but will have a look at them in the am. Also, I pulled the main fuse before starting the handlebar swap.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Did you turn on the hazard lights and let them run for a couple of minutes? Using incandescent bulbs or led? Switch back to stock incandescent bulbs to see?
Seems odd to me. Possible loose plug?

I have a pre-rushmore glide, so I think he's got an 18, but I am guessing there's a plug not connected fully or disconnected.

I'd start first with your handlebar controls..... take those apart and make sure your white plugs are firmly seated into the controls and trace from there. If the controls are plugged in, triple check the connections under the speedo, if those are good, you might have a fuse that needs checked. I know you said you have rears, but did you check hazards? If those are on, do the front come on at all or they are completely dead?

Check the ribbon type attachment near the circuit board on the right side near the hazard switch; and left side switch pack as well.

I have checked the connections under the speedo/tach and unplugged/plugged back in, no change. I had 4” extension on the harnesses, removed them, no change. I am going to check the fuses, I tried the hazard lights, fine in the back, nothing in the front. The hazard flashes in the rear just fine, but the indicators fast flash. If I do not see an issue with a fuse, I will check both switch pack connections.

It sounds like you have a pinched wire in the hand controls. I would start there, take off the covers and look for a pinch where the wires go from controls into the bars. It may even change where you loosen the covers. Just my opinion since it started after changing the bars.

All, thanks for the input. I have tried everyone’s suggestions with no luck. I feel it will turn out to be something simple in the end. I have a full weekend, so the first of the week I plan on checking everything again. I will post what I find when I get it resolved.

I have a 2018 RGS, I threw codes and went in and cleared the codes and they never came back. Majority of codes were ECM codes. Been weeks/ month or so all is well.
