Clutch Lever Feedback

I own a 2017 FLTRU. When the bike is cold, I will sometimes get what I would describe as feedback when letting out the clutch. It is a sensation of buzzing or grinding through the clutch lever. Happens both upshifting and downshifting, usually in 3rd or 4th gear. After riding for little while, it goes away. I have had the recall work done on the hydraulic clutch and it had no effect on this.

Anyone have any ideas as to the cause of this?

John

My 18 does it sometimes. When I first bought the bike I took it back to the dealer thinking there was something wrong but they said it is just the nature of the hydraulic clutch. My buddy has an 18 same as mine and his does it too. I just ignore it and really don’t even notice it much anymore.

Yup me too on my 17
I would get this when the bike was cold so spring and fall time.
I would go away when the bike warmed up.
Dealer told me this is normal.
That being said…this only happened when I really pushed the bike.
So I stopped doing that and rode gently…till she is warmed up

She might not be the fastest bike on the street, nor the lightest, nor the best handling but with her pipes it'll sound like God's coming to dinner and he doesn't like what's being served. IBA #56452
