Handlebar Cup holder for 1.5" bars

I just realized that now that Im graduating from 1.25" to 1.5" bars, my trusty Kruzer Kady cup holder will not work anymore, 1.25 is max bar size.

Anyone find something that works on our new beefy handlebars? I really want to attach to upright on the bar as opposed to the 'perch' mount at the controls. I feel that with 16"apes I have alot of bar to use and would keep it from riding so "high in the breeze" at the control area.

Cant travel without my coffee mug, new bars (finally) arrive Friday, so next week I need to hit the road.

I have one like this that has an adjustable clamp for different size handlebars. But it doesn't work very well for larger drinks and stuff.

Ciro has ones that have a perch mount. Mounts to the screws for the clutch or brake housing. They also have cell phone mounts. I’m adding them to new bars. They appear to be made well. Have yet to try them.

Look at www.techmounts.com. They will have something to adapt your cup holder or anything else for that matter to those bars.

I have one of those too. I don't know if it will go to 1.5 inch. When I moved it from 1 inch to 1.25 inch it was tight fit.

I put my perch mt cup holder on with the control screws but with 14" bars its up there, I am going to try turning the mount upside down. the will lower it 2 or 3 inches.

Not a handlebar mount, but another option.

Yep, I might be able to do it that way. With 16" bars, a typical control mount is way too high. I'm still hoping I can figure a way to mount lower on the bar, but this is an option. Thanks for the pics!
