Handle Bar Question

Anyone ever see a road glide with drag bars? I went from stock bars to 18 inch apes which I like but I have put accutronix forward controls on the bike because I like to be stretched out, anyone have any pics? thanks.

No the bars I am looking for are lower without such large risers.

Here's a site where the local dealership was using to put T Bars on their own Road Glide projects

Do you have any pics? Was always interested in fwd controls on a bagger. I also was interested in T Bars, but it sounds like when your asking about drag bars you want something shorter, positioning the body forward, not upright like the T Bar.

The nearest to drag bars I have seen on a RG are the sinister ind. bars and the drag bag bars. I believe true drag bars will have an interference problem with the fairing.

Here is a pic of my old 2002 with 10" drag bars on it! Not sure if I have any side shot pics of it, but I will have to look into some developed pictures.....(remember those??).

I don't remember them blocking the gages.....but then, I rode a lot with the sound and knew where it was with the RPMs. These are actually 10" pullback riser drag bars, so not straight up. They actually came pretty close to the stock Road Glide riding position with a lot better feel. Drag Specialties bars.

You can do a few things...

Get rid of the Nacelle and:

Go old school with an Auto Meter style Monster tach and shift light, with a matching style speedo...

or Dakota Digital MCV-7400 or other MCV-7xxx series.....

or go with a Road King tank with a Dakota Digital MCL-2004

I guess all three sound like a lot of work.... but on this forum, it seems like there are no limits to what can be done with Road Glides, especially if you want something unique

Looking forward to the pics, thank you!
