handlebar suggestions?

Any suggestions on bars with some added height and pullback that don't require extra wiring? I'm looking for something that I don't have to reach for as much and that won't cost me arm and leg to install. Thanks in advance for any input

I recently installed the Heritage Style bars on my ultra. They cost under 80 bucks. If you're careful, you don't have to replace te TBW sensor. They're a pain to install, but it's a DIY project if you follow the threads on here.

+1 on the Heritage bars. Installed on my RGC with no cable issues.

I was on the fence with this too. Sorry I waited so long to do it. It's worth it!

I went with Heritage Style bars from HD they are less than 80.00 and no cable or wiring to change. They will give you almost 2" or Cycle Visions +2 they are the same as stock RGC bars but 2" taller cost more at about 150.00

If you get into any of the other aftermarket bars you will be looking a 100-300 for the bars and any extra cables or wiring.

Are the heritage bars about the same height position as the stock ones just 2" closer to the rider? I'm not worried about spending some money, but I'm not willing to spend the 1k I was quoted by a dealer.

I need to answer this same question. I'd like to have bars just a inch or two closer, but more importantly I need to rotate my wrists a few degrees towards the outside. Pinkies a bit lower, thumbs a bit higher.

Right now my hands are too flat in relation to what ergonomics I prefer.

according to the harley parts catalog, the heritage bars have 3 inches more pullback than the stock bars. mine don't feel any higher, and honestly don't look like they have any more pullback. I can't "see" a difference, but I can definitely feel it.

As far as 1,000 bucks to install, they must be on crack. It did take me a half a day to install them, but mainly because I had NO CLUE what I was doing. I have ridden metrics for the last 4 years, so I am new to the Harley world. Not to mention that my bike is only a couple weeks old so I was extremely scared I would mess something up. To me, it was a very straightforward install using the step by step on the forum.

Like the others have said, no cable or hose rerouting. I didn't even disconnect my brake line. Just took the clamps off and layed everything across my towel-covered tank

If you're comfortable with moderate wrenching, than buy what you like and do it yourself.........

I went with the 12" Buky Bars Maddoggers.. Just cut and solder the green connector on your throttle sensor, or buy a new CVO throttle sensor for 85$. No cable extensions needed for hand controls, brake line was more than long enough, just easily re-routed the clutch cable.... I got 1.5" bars so internal wiring was extremely easy... I attached a pic after install....
