I don't know anything about the lights being talked about here. I to have a '17 Ultra and think the headlights are the best I've ever come across (about even with the Daymaker I installed on the 13 Limited). I'd suggest you may want to check the alignment, mine was to low.

I live out in the country, so this may not be quite as easy to do if you're in a place that isn't dark or has a lot of traffic. I took mine out at night and found a straight, long, dark stretch of road. I turned on the highbeam and adjusted it up to where I could see the furthest possible down the road. I then turned the screw down a couple of turns. With the low beam on, some people would flash me, some wouldn't. I kept turning the aiming point down until most of the people don't flash me.

This headlight now outshines my trucks lights.

Thank you CantRider ,appreciate the reply. I will try your suggestions to adjust the head lights. They do seem pretty low.

I bought these from Amazon.

They appear to have fixed most of the complaints in this thread. The adujsters have square ends and the printed instructions didn't totally suck. $132 shipped in two days. Instal was pretty easy. I will get some pics soon. They are bright as hell.

Nice! Although I will say the adjusters are the same as the ones that came with mine off eBay. But Iíll take Amazon over eBay anytime and man is that cheap!

I've probably had mine for about 4 years or more. For about a year now one of the vertical lights has come lose and vibrates but still works. I was thinking about trying to fix it but for 116 I might just buy new.

Has anybody had a problem with the piece that goes on after the lights are put in? The piece has 2 tabs top and bottom that clips in. On mine the bottom tabs constantly pop out.

It's called a bezel, your lights are not positioned properly. My guess is you need to raise them .

Had same issue:

2007 R/G with Knockoff Daymakers, same issue you have. It's the 2 bottom lens cover screws on each lens that are the problem. The Bezel when trying to attach it bottoms on the heads of those screws not allowing the lower 2 tabs to lock it in place. I'm using an Ebay Matte Black Headlight Trim Outer Fairing Bezel Scowl Cover Bezel. I ended up grinding the Bezel (see red circle in photo) where the screw heads were touching, it's pretty much paper thin now but it fits in place and tabs lock. One other note on these I'll share, see where the "BLUE" line is, I had to sand this area to get a good fit and even gap all around the lens once everything fit and snapped in place.

This ^^
I had to re-adjust the top adjuster so the bottom would not affect the bezel fitment and the light box would still adjust high enough.
