Custom Dynamics Front Turn Signals

I bought the front amber/white turn signals, they worked perfectly. Then I got the bright idea to take the turn signals apart and plastidip them.

So, I tested the turn signals and right now they stay on amber and don't work with the turn signals. No white ring, just the center amber is lit.

What did I do work? Can the wiring be backworks?

Right now after messing more with it, the amber stays on and then the white ring activates when the turn signals are on.

If I try to put them in the other direction, the white ring will be on and then the amber activates when the turn signals are on. But, I can't switch it because of the offset knobs.

I think the way I'm putting it back together is causing the issue. Because it works correctly, but I can't "screw" the bulb in because of the offset knobs.

You has the "bulb connector" in the wrong slot. It can be confusing if you look. I did this to one of my four. Rotate the "bulb socket so the low pin and high pin swap and it will go in easier

Ended up figuring that out before I went to bed. Working now.

Thanks everyone.

I put front and rear CDs on within a few days of bringing my 15 RGS home. Expensive, but it was literally unplug, plug-in and play. I consider myself a Grade 4 mechanic (scale of 10) - so it is very easy. Rebuilt a wrecked FXR once, all new sheet metal, new carb, new exhaust, new narrow belt and rear sprocket, and internal soldered wired bars, but that was back more years ago than I care to count. Grade 4.

One installation caution, be careful removing the lens, slow and gentle, a quarter works good enough but its easy to break the tabs. If I remember correctly (2 years ago) you have to turn on, run the emergency flashers for 15 or 20 seconds, then turn off ignition, wait several seconds for the chip to recognize - reset, then back on. Apparently that resets everything and should work perfectly, at least mine did. I reused the stock yellow and red lens and I like the look. Apparently I did break a tab on one lens cover only discovered a year later when it fell off polishing the bike!
