A while back i added the stock rear fender fascia to my 2009 road glide, I'd now like to add the tribar light into it. Can anyone tell me if the harness for that light is there already, or if I will have to splice into the harness going to the tail light?

Believe you're gonna have to splice. I just happen to have an aftermarket with stop and turn signal function for what I paid for it plus shipping. Think it was $40.00. Bought it for my 2010 RGC but it wasn't plug and play. PM me if interested.

You don't have to cut and splice. The tri bar plugs into the tail light. There are a couple of threads that have detailed parts list and description of how to do it. Below is a link for one of the threads, it is for a 2012 but would be the same for your 09.

When I had my 2009, I put in the Custom Dynamics Tribar light, and had to cut and splice. Normally, it would plug into the tail light, but that bike never had a tribar as an option so the harness may not be setup for it.

Your best bet is to call Custom Dynamics support line and ask these questions. They are very knowledgeable, and stand by their products.

My light lost a few LEDs and I only noticed it late one night (10:30 pm). I took a picture of it, went to their support page, filled out an email and added the picture. The next morning, by 7:30 am, I had an email indicating that my replacement was on order, and should be shipped out that day.
