I purchased the fog lights, the mounts for the fairing, switch for in dash. installed it all.....yes drilled a hole in my fairing myself....wired as per instructions and nothing. Lights dont come on - checked high low beam still nothing. I haven't started the bike yet as did an intake and exhaust change at same time, and have to tune for changes. does the bike have to be running for them to work? any help would be appreciated.

I believe you will need the dealer to activate so they work with the switch. When you do, ask them to program so that they work on high beams or low beams. When they did mine they only worked on low and I took it back and they reprogrammed to work on either.

Just the ignition has to be on or the bike running for them to work. Does the switch pack in the dash have the fog light button and also what year bike you got?

Thanks. I was told about the high beam program, but I thought the lights would come on without having to be programmed.

I had to buy the fog light switch for my bike. 2018 RG Special. No-one at HD indicated I would need the bike programmed to make switch work??

I bought the (3) switch pack that is plug and play and it works just fine with my added driving lights no programming needed. I have an ultra though and the wiring may be a little different and I am using aftermarket lights as well. I know on my bike, the switch packs activate the accessory plug under the left side cover under the seat.

I had bought the 3 switch pack at first....but the switch for the lights was a dummy button, it wasnt actually a switch. the other two were switches but had no indicators on front
