never ending cam search

OK< i know "what is the best cams " is like asking what is the best color.
there is no "best cam"
I'm asking the members who know a lot more that i ever will the following.
my bike is a 2012 so it has the 103.
I have a Vance Hines pro pipe two into one with the SE Heavy breather.
that is it. nothing else.
I don't expect to see 100MPH more than once a year. so top end is not my goal.
same with high revs
we ride two up a lot with a combined weight of 380 LBS.
What would be good choices for a set of cams?

thanks for your help.

Fueling 574's can be installed into that motor without changing anything else other than a tuner and intake for a gain of near 20...

Best bang for your buck

Seconded..I just dropped a set of these in my buddy's '12 ultra. After tuning he's got 94 hp and 103 tq. Low end grunt too. He rides mainly 2 up and is extremely happy with the cams.

I did :
Andrews 48 cams
SE tapered quick install pushrods
Stock lifters
Cam gasket kit.

With the Dyno, he dropped about 750$.

I have the tools to remove and install the inner bearings that I will lend out to anyone who needs it if they pay shipping both ways and promise to send it back..just my .02.

You will want a good low end and mid range torque cam.
I am running the Woods TW222 and it pulls like a freight train and is a great touring cam. Any cam that produces good low end torque would be good for you a T-Man 555 Torqster is another good choice.
The best thing to do is research and make your own decision because if you ask a 1000 people you will get 1000 different suggestions.
There are plenty of threads on this subject so you may want to do a search.

The t-man 555tq is a good cam on a stock motor. Great low end torque.

103 cams upgrade

I guess I wasn't clear about the bikes engine.
Looking at Lucky's dino sheet it says SE 103.
The bike is not a SE 103 just the 103 that replaced the 96.
Love the look of those numbers though!
Thanks for the replies!
